A beautiful and inspiring selection of art, sculptures and infamous furniture designs, highlighting the 1930’s to modern day period. We were particularly impressed with the selection of photography. The featured works were by Peter Lindberg, Jean Loup Sieff, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Herb Ritts, Frank Horvat, Robert Doisneau, Nobuyoshi Araki, Jean-Paul Goude, Désirée Dolron, to name just a few.
Some personal favorites included this stunning collage work by Raymond Hains, and a 78,7 x 98,4 cm print by Stan Douglas of the Concert Hall, Habana Vieja, in 2004.
The Raymond Hains work particularly attracted us by its sense of timeless purity and calm, and of course we loved the texture of this collage on metal.
